What we don't collect

There are no accounts for visitors. We don't ask for names or photos, and we don't use social pixels, session replay, or behavioral ad targeting.

Launch email list

If you sign up to hear when Color Moose launches, we store your email address and the time you signed up. We use it only to send that one launch email, and we don't sell it or share it for marketing. Signing up is for parents and other adults. Children should not enter their own email address. To have an address removed, email contact@colormoose.com.

Analytics

While we prepare to launch, the coming soon page uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to count visits. Google may set cookies and receive technical data such as your IP address, browser, and the page you came from. We have not turned on advertising features.

Usage counts

To learn which pages get used and where the site breaks, we count anonymous events, such as a page being opened, partly colored, or printed. Each event records the page, the kind of device (phone, tablet, or computer), and the website that linked here, if any. These counts use no cookies or stored identifiers, and we don't record IP addresses, search words, or anything that links events to a person or a visit.

Your coloring

Colors, favorites, and saved pages stay in your browser on this device. They aren't sent to us. We only count that coloring happened, as described above. You can delete your saved work from My Pages.

Advertising

Ads are currently turned off. If that changes, this page will name the ad vendor and describe what it collects before any ad appears.

Hosting

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical request data such as IP addresses in order to deliver and protect the site.
